A sculpture for your institution
A commission begins with the institution’s purpose: whom or what it wishes to honour, the setting in which the work will stand, and the people who will encounter it. The studio develops the proposal with the commissioning institution, considering artistic meaning, scale, materials and installation requirements.
Please include: institution, location, purpose, proposed site, timeframe and budget range.
How a commission works

- Artistic proposalA subject and concept, developed with the institution, presented through studies and digital renderings.
- Design and site reviewScale, sightlines, base, materials and installation requirements reviewed for the specific location.
- FabricationModelling in clay, 3D scanning and digital refinement, large-format printing in recycled PETG, and hand-finishing in metals and patinas in the studio. Bronze casting at a foundry where the brief and budget call for it.
- Installation and documentationInstallation coordinated with the institution, followed by photography and documentation of the completed work.
