Permanent Mission of Greece to the United Nations

Purpose
To mark Greece’s term on the UN Security Council, 2025–2026, at the country’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York.
Figure, material and scale
A Kore from the series for which the artist’s daughter, Sofia, posed. In Hellenic Heads it represents modern Greece and hopes for the next generation. Height: 75 cm. Brass and gold metal coatings finish the sculpture. The face is resin; the rest of the form is 3D-printed recycled PETG.
Setting and audience
The 13th-floor lobby of the Mission, where diplomats, delegations and visitors arrive.
Studio’s role
Modeled in clay, 3D-scanned and refined digitally, printed at scale and hand-finished in metals and patinas in the Petrides studio.
